Ask the Expert: Twitter Q & A on Spring Training and Summer Racing

Picture taken from www.paulmihalescu.comSpring ahead and don’t fall back! Here’s an exciting opportunity to leave your winter blues behind and set up a spring and summer training and racing plan. Join Hartford Marathon Foundation (@RunHMF) and me (Dr. Beth Taylor @BParkerTalk) in a Question and Answer Twitter session on training and racing this Friday (4/11  from 1-2 pm EST).  The forum is designed to answer all of your questions about staying healthy while training for longer distances and figuring out the optimal training plan for your goal race. We’ll discuss topics such as increasing mileage, setting a training and racing schedule, and avoiding injury. How can you participate? Right now, or on Friday, tweet your questions directly to @RunHMF, making sure to use the hashtag #AskHMF in your question. Ask anything you want– no question is too big, small, random, or precise. On Friday, April 11, follow our feed on Twitter from 1-2 pm to receive your answer, or tweet a question real time as you think of it. Please join us in this exciting hour as we talk about science, research, health and running.
